“Benefits of work” campaign
Last month, the KRG’s Sustainable Employment department launched its latest campaign: “Benefits of work”. The campaign focusses on highlighting the many different ways in which being employed can have a positive impact on our lives.
- Income: Working is the most effective, legal way to earn money.
- Status: Working gives us a form of social recognition.
- Achievement: Working allows us to make changes to things and see the results. We are leaving our own mark!
- Time and space management: Working encourages us to organize our time and space, both physical and psychological.
- Key role of existence: Work can be a supporting reference for other life roles, such as parental, emotional, social and associative roles.
- Meaning of life: Work allows us to give back to society, while also contributing to our own development.
- Interpersonal relations: Working allows us to meet new people.
- Family empowerment: You can provide your family with better support for traditional or non-traditional activities.
